Shipping Policy

At ADOJ, every piece of jewelry is handled with the utmost care. Below you will find all the information regarding our processing times and delivery methods.

Production and Shipping Times

  • Custom-Made / Bespoke Jewelry: As these pieces are created specifically for you, production takes between 10 and 14 working days. Your jewelry will be shipped as soon as it is completed.

  • Ready-to-Ship Jewelry: These items are processed and handed over to the courier within a maximum of 5 working days from the date of purchase.

 

Shipping Methods and Couriers

  • Standard Service: We primarily use Poste Italiane. Transit times depend entirely on the courier and the final destination.

  • Alternative Couriers: If you prefer a different courier (e.g., DHL, UPS, FedEx), please contact us directly at info@adayofjune.com to arrange a customized shipping solution.

 

Insurance and Liability

Shipping insurance is not included in the standard shipping fee. We strongly recommend adding insurance for high-value orders, as ADOJ is not responsible for any loss or damage caused by the carrier during transit.

 

International Shipping and Duties: We ship worldwide!

  • Costs: Fees vary depending on the destination country and are calculated at checkout.

  • Customs and Duties: For all shipments to non-EU countries, any customs duties, import taxes, or local charges are the sole responsibility of the buyer. We cannot predict or calculate these costs in advance.

Returns, Exchanges, and Warranty Policy

As an artisan business, every piece leaving our studio is handcrafted with care. Your satisfaction is our priority; therefore, we invite you to carefully read our sales terms and conditions.

Right of Withdrawal and Returns

  • "Ready-to-Ship" Products: If the jewelry was purchased as displayed (without any resizing or customizations), you may return it within 30 days from the date of purchase. The item must be unworn, undamaged, and in its original packaging.

  • "Custom-Made" or Personalized Products: Jewelry made to order with specific features (choice of metal, specific gemstones, engravings, or custom sizing) cannot be returned. The right of withdrawal is excluded for goods made to the consumer's specifications or clearly personalized, unless they show evident manufacturing defects.

 

Resizing

We want your jewelry to fit perfectly.

  • Within 30 days: The first resizing service is free of charge.

  • Additional Costs: If the jewelry features gold plating, a surcharge will apply to cover the cost of re-plating required after the resizing process.

  • Logistics: If you are unable to bring the jewelry directly to our studio, shipping costs (both ways) are the responsibility of the buyer.

 

Product Uniqueness and Warranty

Every piece is handcrafted. Small variations compared to the website photos are not to be considered defects, but rather distinctive marks of uniqueness and craftsmanship.

  • 2-Year Warranty: We cover manufacturing defects (e.g., loss of a stone due to setting defects or structural breakage not caused by impact or improper use). In such cases, the jewelry will be repaired free of charge.

  • Exclusions: The warranty does not cover damage resulting from misuse, neglect, or normal wear and tear.

  • Shipping Fees: Even for repairs under warranty, shipping costs remain the responsibility of the buyer.

 

Metal Care and Maintenance

It is important to understand the nature of your chosen materials to care for them properly:

  • Bronze and Brass: These are non-precious metals that may react with skin pH levels. Oxidation or tarnishing is a natural and subjective chemical reaction (not harmful to health); therefore, such changes are not considered defects and do not qualify for a return. To help you maintain your piece, we include a specially designed polishing cloth with every purchase.

  • Gold Plating (Gilding): Plating is a temporary surface application of 18k or 24k gold. Its durability depends entirely on how the jewelry is worn (contact with water, perfumes, friction). For this reason, the plating is guaranteed for a maximum of 6 months.
